The LI Stars organization have remodeled and combined their spring season with their Quebec program for the upcoming birth years of 2010, 2011, 2012. The Stars are back at the International Quebec Pee-wee Tournament with 2 teams in the divisions of AAA & AA and players will have the opportunity during the spring season for a great exposure under coach Benny to secure a spot for their Quebec and be developed in the upcoming years of Quebec tournament year. The Q Stars organisation who is the only AAA and AA Quebec teams on Long Island has worked well and has already locked-in top 2010 players for the 2023 Quebec edition.
This Spring/Québec program consist of a spring commitment with the eligibility to attend our Quebec tryouts in 2022, 2023 and 2024 with the possibility to earn a spot on one of our 2 Quebec teams at the International Québec Pee-wee tournament. The players will benefit from professional on-ice performance training with former NHL’er Benoit Hogue and his coaching staff and be guided to a much better development all the way to their pee-wee minor or major year to participate at the International Quebec tournaments. The Stars program provides a unique opportunity to all players to live the once-in-a-lifetime Quebec hockey experience that each kid will remember forever. Don’t miss this opportunity!
This program was created and founded 8 years ago by former NHL'er and Long Island resident Benoit Hogue. The Stars have been an organization that is very well represented every year at the famous Quebec pee-wee tournament in Mid-February of every year. The Stars spring program offers 6-8 weeks on ice training sessions + 2 spring tournaments are a huge player's game evaluation for the coaches on athletes looking to compete at the International Pee-wee Quebec tournament.
The Long Island Stars had withdrawn from the Quebec pee-wee tournament for the second straight year due to the covid-19.
Out of solidarity with the current situation
and out of respect for the health measures put
into effect on December 31, and after a meeting
of its board of directors, it is with great dismay
that the organization of the International
Pee-Wee BSR announces the cancellation of
its 2022 edition.
